November 10, 1999 -- LoanTrade Inc. is pleased to announce the sale of our client’s portfolio of charged-off Visa/MasterCard accounts. The Seller is a commercial bank located in the Midwest.  Charge-offs were excluded from the sale. 

Tim Kirkpatrick, LoanTrade's President said "Our client made a strategic decision to exit the credit card market because of the high administrative costs associated with servicing a small card portfolio.  We were, however, able to structure and agent bank relationship with the purchaser which enabled our client to continue to market credit cards to its customer base.  The plastics will continue to bear the name of the Seller.  This worked out well for both parties".
