April 27, 2000 -- Acting as a Buyer's Representative, LoanTrade Inc. is pleased to announce it located and successfully managed the acquisition of a medium size performing Visa/MasterCard portfolio for its client.  The Seller is a Credit Union located in the Southeast.  The Purchaser is a large U.S. commercial bank .  60+ day delinquent and charged-off accounts were included in the sale. 

Tim Kirkpatrick, LoanTrade's President said "Our Selling client made a strategic decision to exit the credit card market because of the high administrative costs associated with servicing a small card portfolio.  We were, however, able to structure and a very attractive agent bank relationship with the purchaser which enabled our client to continue to market credit cards to its customer base.  The plastics will continue to bear the name of the Seller.  This worked out extremely well for both parties".
